The MSME exchange 3.0 is upon us and promises to be bigger and better, reinforcing the importance of MSMEs in our society and how they are the driving force behind our economy. Let’s move on to what to expect from day 1 of the SMEs Exchange without further ado.

At 4:30 pm, there will be opening speeches on policies that support the growth of MSMEs and the ease of doing business. Sivasubramanian Ramanan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SIDBI, will share insights on how small businesses are helping the Indian economy grow. We have emphasized the policy effort to make doing business easier by providing faster loan outlets and programs to boost the SME sector. And perhaps more importantly, the need to digitize the lending process to strengthen the ecosystem and remove barriers.

After this strong start, Sameer Jain will deliver the keynote speech. He will discuss the importance of supporting MSME growth to the $5 trillion economy. He is the CEO and founder of Net Solutions Head and the SME Council of the Nasscom SME Council.

Don’t miss the panel discussion at 4:50 PM IST if you’re an entrepreneur eager to learn how to scale your business. Rahul Kothari, CBO at Razorpay, Lakshminarayan Swaminathan, CXO of Meesho’s Supply Growth, and Kapil Thirani, Senior Director at Flipkart are on the panel discussing the social e-commerce revolution and how technology will help Indian SMEs become global success stories.

We are also turning the spotlight on India’s solopreneurs, one such company being ChakiPeesing. ChakiPeesing co-founder Rajeev Khera will be candid about how his company used technology and digital channels to grow from 100 customers to more than 5,000 in the NCR region in just two years.

And it only gets better from there. Then at 5:30pm IST we have a panel discussion with leading women. Tune in as you will hear about the success stories of women who have overcome entrepreneurial barriers across many industries. Our panelists are Kanika Tekriwal, founder and CEO of Jetsetgo Aviation, Naiyya Saggi, co-founder of the Good Glamm Group and founder and CEO of Babychakra, and Hardika Shah, founder and CEO of Kinara Capital. These women have worked hard to identify new growth trajectories and understand what motivates people’s passions, and the difficulties they face. They will work out ways to bridge even these gaps. Do not miss it!

You can then tune in for a 101 session on entrepreneurship with Ankur Warikoo, a teacher and content creator, at 6:10 PM IST. To add to that, we have the CEO and founder of Bharat Sethi Rage Coffee sharing his thoughts on creating a sustainable brand and his lessons along the way.

We’re about to close, but only after discussing why we’re all here in the first place: to understand the future of SMEs. The pandemic underlined the importance of small businesses embracing digital transformation to not only survive but thrive in the current environment. We will have Archana Vohra, Director of Small and Medium Business India, and Meta provide closing remarks on how to keep pace with a dynamic and evolving market and Meta’s role in fostering entrepreneurship.
