Developed by Tyler Sheridan, 1883 debuted on Paramount+ in late 2021 as a prequel series to Yellowstone. The Dutton family travels from Texas to Montana during the TV show as they search for a new life away from poverty and misery.

In the first season of the series, Thomas, Noemi and Josef choose to settle and build a life in Oregon. 1883 Season 2: Release Date
Season one of the western drama series 1883 premiered on the Paramount network on December 19, 2021, and the season came to an end when the finale aired on February 27, 2022. Meanwhile, we’re talking about the future of the series and the good news fans want to hear. The show has been renewed for 1883 season 2.
In an official statement, ViacomCBS’s Tanya Giles said, “By promoting the series through linear sampling on the Paramount Network during their last record-breaking season of ‘Yellowstone,’ we were able to further introduce Sheridan’s loyal audience to this fantastic new series. We look forward to bringing fans even more of the Duttons’ origin story.” Unfortunately, the network has not yet announced the release date for the second season, but we speculate that the second season could be released around mid to late 2023.
