early life
Kim was born on June 7, 1969 in Portland, Oregon, USA, where she spent her childhood with her father Frank Rhodes, her mother Jane Rhodes and sister Jennifer Rhodes.
Education
Rhodes received her Bachelor of Fine Arts graduating summa cum laude from Southern Orgeon State College, later attended Temple University and received her Masters in Fine Art. After earning both her degrees, she was certified in four different stage combat types, dagger, rapier, hand-to-hand, and quarterstaff.
Career
Before acting Kim worked as a veterinary assistant for three years before acting in some of William Shakespeare’s plays.
