Taylor was raised alongside her younger sister Carly in Toronto, by their father who was a businessman, and their mother who was a doctor – motivated by her mother, Carly attended medical school and is today a nurse.

Husband Tom
Taylor met her Asian boyfriend Tom Lip in early 2010 when they were proposed to by a mutual friend at a party, and the two started dating a week later. They were together for several years before Tom proposed in June 2018, and the video of his proposal can be found on Taylor’s YouTube channel – two months later they married.
