New Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season Six Probably Won’t Be Released Soon

While it’s very certain that fans will get additional Jersey Shore: Family Vacation episodes before the year 2022 is over, Season 6 isn’t expected to start until 2023 at the earliest.

After Ronnie Ortiz’s season of Magro’s five sabbatical, fans of the reality show may be wondering if he will return. After allegations of domestic violence against him were dismissed in May 2021, Ronnie, 36, revealed he would be taking a break from filming Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

Ronnie announced on May 13 on Instagram Stories that he is going on leave from the program while undergoing therapy for mental health issues he has ignored for too long.

In April 2021, he was arrested for domestic violence in his hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada, where he regularly made news about his relationship turmoil outside of the show. After posting $100,000 bail, Ronnie was released from detention on April 23, after which the charges were dropped.

With no charges filed against Ronnie, he was able to escape prison in September 2021 by voluntarily completing a 30-day inpatient treatment without being charged.

As part of his plea deal, he was also required to take 26 parenting classes.
Ronnie declared his sobriety and returned to the reality show in August 2021, months after his incarceration in April 202. However, there is no sign of him filming the upcoming season.

According to an eyewitness who spoke to Us Weekly, one of the cast members was recently observed filming new episodes over an Easter break. Days later, some of the show’s cast members were seen dining out with cameras nearby, but Ronnie wasn’t there.

It wasn’t just the troubled MTV star who couldn’t make it to the set. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was unable to attend a group dinner in San Diego because DJ Pauly D was not on the group’s Easter excursion.

Currently, it is not certain whether Ronnie will appear in Season 6.
